12m Anti-corrosion Transducer Model PB(remote: KUA-40-12PB-F
The ultrasonic level meter is a digital device controlled by a microprocessor for measuring levels. During measurement, the sensor (transducer) emits ultrasonic pulses, which are then reflected by the liquid surface and received by the same sensor. The signals are converted into electrical signals through a piezoelectric crystal, and the distance between the sensor and the liquid surface is calculated based on the time it takes for the sound wave to travel.
Due to its non-contact measurement method, this device is versatile and can be used for measuring the height of various liquid and solid materials. The KUA-40 liquid level sensor is specifically designed for oil and chemical liquid level measurement, offering high accuracy, corrosion resistance, anti-collision features, and an IP68 protection grade.
However, in certain environmental conditions, caution is advised:
1. Presence of foam in liquid/solid.
2. Strong voltage, current, or electromagnetic interference in the
vicinity; it's advisable to avoid high voltage, current, and strong
electromagnetic interference.
3. Harsh weather conditions such as strong winds or intense
sunlight.
4. Environments with strong vibrations.
5. Areas with volatile liquids and significant water vapor.
6. Measurement of crystalline liquids.
7. In the presence of these challenging field conditions, careful
consideration is necessary, as the measurement accuracy may
decrease, and the data could be unstable. In such scenarios, the
use of an ultrasonic level gauge for measurement is generally not
recommended.
