1-1/2" Threaded 2S400-40 Diaphragm SS304 Solenoid Valve 24V DC
2S, SUS & SUW series stainless steel solenoid valves are devices that regulate fluid or air flow. Due to their durability and reliability, these devices are ideal for various industrial applications. They are used in the control of water, air, inert gases, steam, and of fluids in general that have different levels of aggressiveness. They are employed in various sectors, for both domestic and industrial use and are used for household appliances and coffee machines, drinks machines, industrial washing machines, autoclaves/sterilizers, irrigation systems and fire suppression, dental equipment, steam boilers and industrial applications.

Common use for Irrigation, Fountains, Solar Heating, Automotive, Beer Brewing, Hydroponics, HVAC, and Plumbing:
Troubleshooting of common problems in solenoid valve:
Problem 1: The Valve makes noise
Reason 1: AC coils may have a slight hum do to cycle cycling. If
top nut is lose, tightening it may reduce the noise.
Reason 2: Dirt or wear in the armature may cause a humming noise.
Clean Armature tube.
Reasoon 3: LOUD BUZZING. If your solenoid valve is buzzing loudly
immediately disconnect the valve. This may be caused by incorrect
voltage or power supply and can cause serious bodily harm or system
damage if not corrected.
Problem 2: The valve gets extremley hot or emits smoke.
Reason 1: The solenoid valve will become warm or uncomfortably hot
to the touch. This is typically normal as it is dissipating heat.
Reason 2: If your solenoid valve is extremely hot or emitting smoke
immediately disconnect the valve. This may be caused by incorrect
voltage or power supply and can cause serious bodily harm or system
damage if not corrected.
Problem 3: Nothing happens when I connect power
Reason 1: Make sure there is a proper electrical connection
(voltage, current, frequency). Use a multimeter to test all
components.
Reason 2: The coil is disconnected or burned out. Check your wiring
to the coil and confirm the valve is receiving the correct
specifications. OHMs can be checked to determine if the coil has
burned out.
