PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The DDM350B / DDM360B is a three-dimensional dynamic electronic compass that integrates a 9-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), consisting of a three-axis accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, and three-axis fluxgate. By leveraging the high dynamic range of the gyroscope and the stable attitude characteristics of the accelerometer, the system calculates pitch and roll angles during complex attitude changes using a dynamic inertial navigation algorithm.

For geomagnetic azimuth measurement, the compass employs both hard and soft magnetic calibration algorithms to eliminate magnetic interference, ensuring accurate heading data even in environments with magnetic field disturbances. The central processor computes the heading in real time, and dynamic pitch and roll compensation is applied for a wide range of magnetic azimuths. This allows the compass to provide precise heading data even at tilt angles of up to ±85°.

The DDM350B / DDM360B also features a high-performance DSP processor with multiple output modes, including standard interfaces such as RS232, RS485, TTL, and customizable options.

Compact and low-power consuming, the DDM350B / DDM360B is ideal for use in marine vessels, antennas, satellites, commercial drones, and other high-vibration, harsh environments. It is particularly suitable for today’s high-precision integrated control systems.
