The KS3ARGA1 series represents a sophisticated product designed by Kacise to precisely measure the angular rate across three axes. This three-axis angular rate sensor integrates state-of-the-art MEMS technology chips in each axis. The functionality of the KS3ARGA1 series gyros is rooted in the principle of the resonator gyro. Each gyro consists of two sensitive structures made from polysilicon. These structures feature high-frequency vibrating frames that are electrostatically driven to achieve resonance, constituting the core speed-sensing elements. At the extremities of these frames, a capacitance-sensitive structure detects the Coriolis effect resulting from any angular motion. This detection is then converted into an electrical signal. The signal undergoes amplification and modulation, which eventually leads to an output that correlates directly with the angular rate.
