The KSFG3X36-1 fiber optic gyro, as illustrated in the figure, is a low-precision three-axis gyro featuring a compact design, lightweight structure, lack of moving components, high reliability, and extended lifespan. Its digital output is conveniently integrated with systems, making it applicable in aviation, aerospace, naval operations, defense, coal mine measurements, automotive electronics, and other varied fields.
Based on optical principles, the fiber optic gyroscope principle is employed in inertial navigation instruments. By leveraging the optical properties of fibers, it accurately measures rotational angular speed, allowing for precise determination of directions like heading, pitch, and roll. The rotation of the optical loop causes changes in the optical path, and detecting these changes in terms of phase difference or interference fringe enables the measurement of rotation angular speed.
